Teaching physicians for general medicine

The University of St.Gallen has been offering a Master's program in Medicine in collaboration with the University of Zurich and partners in Eastern Switzerland since fall 2020. One of the focal points of the Joint Medical Masters in St.Gallen is primary care, which is why various internships in family practices are planned. In order to achieve the goal of integrating outpatient primary care longitudinally into the curriculum, we are dependent on the support of family physicians from Eastern Switzerland who are interested in teaching, who introduce the students to family medicine and thus promote this professional goal.

Didactics training for teaching physicians JMM-HSG/UZH

Currently, our faculty includes approximately 40 trained teaching physicians from outpatient primary care. Most of them have already supervised students in the Clinical Course in Family Medicine and the Primary Care Course in Family Practice. In order to accommodate the increasing number of students, we need additional teaching physicians who would like to become involved in the training of young physicians.

On xxx from 16:00 to 19:00 at the School of Medicine in St.Gallen another didactics training will take place, which qualifies to supervise Joint Medical Master students from St.Gallen in single tutorials. We would be very pleased if you could attend. If the date does not suit you, please let us know and we will offer further trainings. For further information please contact us by mail.
