The Institute

The School of Medicine is an institute of the HSG with a special purpose, which consists in particular of organising the Joint Medical Master JMM-HSG/UZH cooperation project of the Universities of St.Gallen and Zurich on the St.Gallen campus. In addition to its "special" purpose, the School of Medicine is also an innovative and future-oriented research institute of the HSG, to which the chairs of  Health Economics, Policy and Management, Digital Health Interventions, Medical Knowledge and Decision Support and Medical Humanities belong. These teams acquire their own third-party funding from research, continuing education and projects and thus actively shape the future of the School of Medicine.
