Congratulations to Maxime Sapin

The entire team at the School of Medicine (Med-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen would like to congratulate Maxime Sapin on the successful defense of his doctoral thesis!

His dissertation, entitled “Advancing Self-Care in Modern Healthcare – An Analysis of Informed Decision-Making, Disease Management, and Screening,” is the result of years of dedicated research.

In his work, Maxime Sapin examines how self-care approaches can be specifically strengthened in modern healthcare. He analyzes how informed decision-making, effective disease management, and innovative screening strategies can contribute to sustainably improving both the efficiency and quality of healthcare. His research highlights in particular the potential of structured preventive measures, data-based decision support, and patient-centered care models.
