EcoOst St.Gallen Symposium 2024

The sixth EcoOst St.Gallen Symposium 2024 took place on May 21th in the Lokremise. 

Sustainable healthcare in Eastern Switzerland was the focus of the joint event organized by the St.Gallen Symposium, the St.Gallen-Appenzell Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Thurgau Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the University of St.Gallen. Around 150 decision-makers from business, politics and society took part in the event.

In his inspiring keynote speech, Prof. Dr. Alexander Geissler, Chair of Health Economics, Policy and Management, spoke about the challenges of the demographically induced shortage of specialists for healthcare in Eastern Switzerland and how the increasing demand for medical care is becoming more and more noticeable with limited resources.
