The results of the first national digital maturity assessment of German hospitals have just been published.
The paper contributes in three significant ways:
- it introduces an open and comprehensive digital maturity model, the DigitalRadar
- the data increases transparency regarding digital maturity across multiple dimensions and sub-dimensions on a national level
- digital maturity information can also be integrated with other data, such as quality or financial indicators, to assess which digital setups contribute to high-quality care or financial stability
